Southfield artist Tomak Baksik is looking forward to returning to the Novi Home Improvement Show for another year.

“(I) loved it,” Baksik said of his past experience at the show. “(It offers) a huge spectrum of exhibitors, easy installation, good turn out, and most importantly good networking.”

This year’s show will run from Friday, Jan. 29, to Sunday, Jan. 31, and will feature several unique exhibitors to give you countless ideas for your next home improvement project.

Baksik, a local artist and sculptor for nearly 10 years, specializes in glass work for various surfaces, as well as natural crystal lighting.

In addition to having the opportunity to check out Baksik’s work at the Home Improvement Show, The Oakland Press is offering readers a chance to win two of his hand-crafted end tables, valued at $500 each. We are also giving away several pairs of tickets to the show, which will be held at the Suburban Collection Showplace, 46100 Grand River Ave.

All you need to do to enter the contest is sign up for our email newsletter and post a comment on ourFacebook page’s posts about the contest. Facebook comments on this story will also be counted as entry to the contest.

The tables feature all custom color patterns with colors made from scratch in glass, which is then mixed and fused together at 2,100 degrees, Baksik said. Winners of the table and tickets will be notified via email within the week.
